Pixel Light Indoor

Pixel Light, the new seating system design by Sergio Bicego, stems from the desire to expand on the concept of form flexibility to reach a more sophisticated one of fluidity of spaces. We investigated new possibilities and uses for the Pixel sofa, the iconic project for Saba, that this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. We lightened its form by improving the technical performances but while still maintaining intact its unique style that now allows it to inhabit both interior and exterior spaces. The thought that accompanied us through this project was indeed the desire of dissolving the boundaries between inside and outside.
Pixel Light indoor adds glamour and lightness to any space, even though it remains faithful to its nomadic and fluid DNA. It distinguishes itself from the original project for the varnished iron aerial base available in champagne or noir finish, for the new comfortable back pillows in two sizes and also for the particular and high-performance padding canvas in breathable microfiber quilted with cotton canvas.

In wood padded with variable-density polyurethane foame (401M - 251M - 301P). The upper part is covered with 100% cotton cloth which contains washed and sterilized goose feather, divided into sections. The seat is sprung with eleastic straps reinforced with polypropylene The backs are in curved plywood, padded with variable density polyurethane foam (251M and 751P), and covered with polyesther-backed velveteen, and feature a glossy chrome finish steel base.
Feet
4 cm high, in black ABS.
Padding
The back cushions are filled with washed and sterilized goose down quilted into sections and covered with white 100% cotton fabric.

Structure
In plywood with variable-density polyurethane foam core (35IM - 40IPP - 50IP and 40 soft and flexible to slow return) clothed with siliconized polyester fiber 400gr/sqm quilted with 100% cotton fabic. Armrests are made in plywood with variable-density polyurethane foam (30IM - 40IPP e 40 soft and flexible to slow return) clothed with siliconized polyester fiber 400gr/sqm quilted with 100% cotton fabric. Bck panels are in plywood with polyurethane foam 75IPP and covered with velfodera coupled to polyurethane foam.
Feet
Painted metal base h.19.5 cm. Available with or without fabric bands.
Padding
Back cushions are in polyester fiber mixed with washed and sterilized goose feather divided into sections and clothed with 100% cotton fabric. The cylinder, diameter 22cm, is in polyurethane foam core 30IM with black painted metal insert and clothed with polyester fiber 400gr/sqm coupled to 100% cotton fabric. The cylinder, diameter 11cm, is in polyurethane foam core 30IM and clothed with resin 100gr/sqm.
