The originating concept in the development of the Ombra was to turn a lamp into an instrument for playing with light, a lamp able to change colors with the changing moods of everyday life, a lamp able to convey sunset and dawn, peace and energy.

Thousands of chromatic color tones emanate from Ombra by way of its patented optic unit which utilizes dichroic filters to modulate the color of the light. The interactive nature of Ombra invites your touch to mix a full spectrum of colors depending on your moods. With a deft hand, simply slide the three knowbs in or out to create all the colors of the sun, including pure white light.

The Ombra, which means shadow, is simply shaped into an essential rectangle divided by a lens shaped indentation. When lit, Ombra reveals unique lighting effects. There is white light, colored light, and a subtle combination of colors near the indentation. The most beautiful feature of this lamp is the unique pattern of shadows that it casts upon the wall while delighting the senses with color. The name Ombra pays homage to the shadow, light's silent partner.

The satin white glass diffuser is supported by a silver laquered aluminum base. Ombra is a novel addition to foyers, dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms - anywhere a wall deserves special attention to enhance emotion and mood.

Ombra utilizes one 75 watt MR16 halogen bulb (included).
